HOW TO OVERCOME THE ANGUISH THAT THE END OF THE HOLIDAYS PRODUCES.

TOOLS FOR PREVENTION.
The underlying problem does not stop being that we human beings are not living the life we choose, but the one that we believe that as an inescapable destiny we have been assigned in the cast.
Substantially modifying our daily lives in the calendar year is essential.
Giving ourselves some of what we need during work time will allow us to go more quickly into "vacation mode" and also allow us to build transitions in a more relaxed and less traumatic way.
Remember that stress is the imbalance between demands and resources at different times of our lives.
Avoid the phenomenon of anticipatory anxiety.
It is essential on vacation days (and on others as well) to do everything possible to live in the present moment, to enjoy what is happening without anticipating what is to come.
Anchor in what happens and scare away the thoughts that distract us from now, as if they were flies, leading us to a reality that disturbs us.
Limit contact with the workplace to a minimum.
Many people by their occupation must have at least once a day connection with their workplace. But whenever possible, that work leaves the scene of our lives during vacation time is welcome so that the rest is total. Even if we spend the summer in our place of residence, it is essential to put together a routine that is remote and different from what we do throughout the year.
Plan a staggered return to work.-
Many times to optimize and maximize the rest time, the return is scheduled as close as possible to the work restart. I think this is a mistake. If there is no transition time, the passage is too abrupt, there is no possible adaptation. It is preferable to return two days before and make a slow movement between one state and another.
Limit the use of screens.
Technology is a great anxiety powerhouse, it also keeps us connected with areas of our daily life that link us with obligations and stress factors. Many people in recent times choose places without wifi to rest from the work year.
Schedule a plan or activity that excites us for the return.-
A recital, a movie that we have wanted to see for a long time, barbecue with friends, start an activity that does us good, buy a book, there is so much linen to do even during work time.
Recreate and repeat something from the holidays when returning to the routine.
Prepare something of what we ate in those days, copy routines that made us happy and that we can sustain in our daily lives.
We can have a loving daily with ourselves. And above all, let's think seriously what life we are having, if it's worth it, it pains to live as we do.
We justify our rush for obligations, and when we take stock it is often late, because we cannot go back in time and many years of our lives have passed with much pain and little glory. We can decide much more than we think.
Let's put together a more loving year and then the holidays will not be an oasis in the middle of the desert, and the desert, our life.
May the return be calm and may the calm be lasting.
