2020 Housing Market X-ray of a Pandemic Year
30th June 2021The pandemic conditions that have been experienced in the last year make the information contained in the 2020 Real Estate Registry statistics especially relevant. It has been a year in which we began with an unprecedented health crisis, which has caused important economic consequences, with the corresponding effects on the real estate market.
As a notable novelty, the 2020 real estate registry yearbook makes a breakdown of housing sales information according to nationality, presenting results of the leading nationalities in the purchase of housing by foreigners at the provincial level. Likewise, we have incorporated important aspects that have changed in the current social and health context, and which are also objects of analysis in the quarterly reports of the ERI, such as the weight distinction of single-family and collective housing purchases (flats) , as well as the evolution of the weight of sales in the provincial capitals with respect to the province.
